No A# given at POE for F2A consular processing

Hi,

My wife entered US through SFO. She came on an F2A visa. I do not see an A# in her passport though I can see US entry stamp. The Immigration officer at POE said your Green Card will be sent in few weeks. is this normal? should I be concerned.

Perfectly normal, but a pita never the less. (You need A# for so many things)

The GC will arrive in 4-6 weeks.
