no 2nd finger print notice for secondary applicant

my wife, the primary applicant, received her 2nd finger print notice more than 2 weeks ago. however, i'm still waiting for mine to come. could anyone in a similar situation tell me approximately how long the gap is between separate 2nd finger print notices to arrive?
our lawyer has offered to start a inqury (he charges on per hour basis :() for us. before we ask him to contact NSC, does anyone know much of a help the lawyer can be? i called NSC a week ago, no help at all from the lady answered the phone.

Whats your ND for I-485? Any RFE, these deatils help others...
I'd suggest that you wait, if primary case is going well, you don't have anything to worry about. And if you have EAD and AP, then just use these. FP notices can come on the same day, or these can be 1-4 months apart. You know how NSC works ;)
 
Even I am in the same boat. I(primary applicant) have done my 2nd FPs on July 7th. Until now my spouse didnot get her FPs yet.

My RD is Nov 29th, 2002
 
I am also in the same boat

In my case I am the primary applicant and i have not received 2nd FP.
But my wife has received her 2nd FP two weeks back and her FP date is Augsut 11th.

If anybody is in the same boat can you please share your experiences.

can i go ahead take the finger print without the notice?

Our ND is 10/03/2002. There's no REF for either of us so far. Our advanced paroles and EAD's were approved at the same time. I wonder would it be possible to go ahead do the finger print with my wife together, even without a finger print notice; the office is more then a hour's drive away, and it'll be nice if we could do it in one trip.

It won't hurt to try. But my experience is that they do not entertain without notice. We tried it for my husband who is derivative applicant & did not get a 2nd FP notice. Whereas I did get 2nd FP notice & did early FP.
