NO 1st EAD /AP yet - :(

Hi Guys,

I am still waiting for (me & my wife's) first EAD & AP. :(

Case Details - 485/140/EAD/AP - ND 24th Feb, 2004.

LUD for all our files changed on 6/12 - no message change yet !!! :(

Am I the only one waiting for these dates - as I see EAD & AP from April's filing coming through.

Is there anything we can do ? :confused:

Suggestion

you may gor for Interim EAD, that may trigger your regular EAD.

Just my 2 cents. you may also get good advise from our friends in this forum.

I got my EAD/AP without any RFE, one month after the LUD change. So in my opinion, you should here something in the next one week. Good Luck!

Initiate a query if you are in no rush of iEAD.
 
Actually, my attorney says he has given USCIS my case details over phone on June 7th and we should wait for their resopnse.

Not sure if this what - initiating a query means?
If
a) not - what is the process.
b) yes - how long shall we expect a response on this query.

Lastly, can iEAD hamper my case in any way - esp. when i don't even have the first EAD /AP.

a) That is initiating a query... So it is already done by ur lawyer. Usaully your attorney will receive a letter from the CIS, Saying it takes 30 days .....etc...

b) CIS says wait for 30 days. But sometime it may take longer time especially with the I140. You should get before 30 days.

Your iEAD will not hamper ur case. Need not worry whether it is 1st or 2nd...

Thanks everyone !

I guess, I will wait for another one week - if I do not hear anything, I will ask my attorney to file iEAD & initiate second query.

Need process for procuring interim EAD and AP from the local office....

Hi guys

I have not recd. my first actual EAD & AP yet. We had initiated a query 35-40 days back and are going to initiate another one now. :mad:

My attorney is suggesting me that I should go for an interim EAD & AP from my local office.

Please let me know the complete process with dos & donts for procuring the interim EAD & AP. Thanx! :confused:
