NJ Driver Lic on EAD - 6Point ID Verification

HI,
Can anyone help me in figuring out 6 points, while working on EAD.
I can't add up more than 5, as EAD counts for only 3 points.

I have EAD, AP, Passport with expired I-94 card (as afterwards I have I-485 pending).
Additionaly, I have marriage certificate from India. I do not have any birth certificate.

Please help me with your experiences?

Get your SS card, and take a piece of mail as well.
Requires first class mail to your address like a utility
bill, or a notice from USCIS ;)


Go here and it will walk you through all the possible proof of ID needed,
then you can print out a checklist and bring that printed page with your proof.

NJ DL on EAD - only 5 points add up

Thanks for quick response.
I only can add up 5 points 3 for EAD and two from 2 secondary IDs.
I do not believe any 4 points options are valid for my situation.
Do you think any 4 point options could be used - like valid passport with expired I-94?

Your EAD card isn't valid proof to NJ unless accompanied by the SS card.

You need 1 primary ID at least/ that would be this -
--3 point value - Current photo employment authorization card (Form I-688B or I-766). Must be presented with valid Social Security card.

Then Secondarys to add up to 6 points: try these -
--3 point value - Civil marriage certificate issued by the municipality in which you were married. Please note: Photocopies are not accepted. Marriage certificates issued by religious entities are not accepted.
--3 point value - Divorce Decree
--1 point value - Current health insurance card, prescription card or employee ID card with printed pay stub
--1 point value - Social Security card


And so it goes on and on. Read the link I gave you - I'm sure you'll
find 6 point at LEAST :)

You are eligible to get NY state license - Here are your 6 - points -

A foreign passport with your visa and form I-94. The passport must be in English or translated by an embassy. - 3 points

A US Employment Authorization Card (INS I-688B or I-766) - 3 points

Total - 6 points

Check the web site -

So just take your passport and EAD to your local NY DMV.
 
Sorry - My mistake - I thought you were from NY state instead of NJ - but hopefully over there rules are the same.

1- SS
2- EAD
3- Proof of address (i.e. Utility Bills, evelopes, if any)
4- Medical Insurance Card, if any
These are enough
