NIW140 NSC Approved after two years

Finally, after that long journey, I received e-mail saying my 140 approved. My case was NIW 140/485 concurrently in 5/2004. Then #1 RFE in 5/2005, response in 8/2005, the weird #2 RFE in 2/2006, response in 3/2006, now apprvoal e-mail arrives.

I do not know how to say at this moment, just feeling very tired.

Congratulations.

I remember you were asked to provide evidence of research fund in your
second RFE. And your name was not on the grants. How did you address
this issue in your reply? Thanks.
 
proof of research funding

Hi everyone

I am new here.
I am preparing my NIW, and I have a question that I hope to get
some help from you. I am a postdoc in university and doing research for
projects funded by government (DoD and NIH). I like to
mention these sources of funding in my petition and also in my supervisor's
recommendation letter in order to show the importance of my research to
national interest. However, my supervisor got the funding before
I joined his lab, and my name is not in the project proposal. In addition,
the project will expire soon. So, I do not know how to provide evidence
about research funding, or should I still state in my petition that my research
is funded by government? Thank you very much.

PI has to do annual report on the NIH grant. My name is not on the initial application, but on the annual report. This is how I response for my second RFE.
