I am Ph.D student and will get the degree soon. I have five papers in important journals at my research area and more than ten conference papers. Do I qualify for NIW? Is it helpful if I get postdoc offer? It is very hard to find a job right now. My research area is related to clean energy and air pollution prevention.

Your case seems pretty weak for NIW, despite your field of activity. I am not implying you have no chance, with a good lawyer you might be able to pull this out. Try to strengthen your case with some journal reviews. If your papers would be cited by others, this will definitely help your case.
