Hi everybody! I am new to the forum and with 18 months of my H1b left, I have been thinking about ways to secure permanent residency including NIW.

I am a physician and during my residency published about 12 abstracts in national concerences focussing on ICU infections and a couple of case reports.

Currently, I am a fellow in one of the top 10 universities doing bench research with a leading researcher and about to submit my first paper.

With this CV, do I have a shot at NIW?
 
Yes, you do. Have you read about the NYDoT case and the three-prong test? The third one may be a bit hard to crack in your case, in my opinion.
 
Yes , you can go for niw. If your prof can mention that you are the key researcher for his project then you can improve your case
