Do it myself. Ph.D in Engineering. Graduated last May.
20 publications, most conference papers. 8 conference presentations, one pending patent, one membership, several invitation emails from unknown conference and journals, 8 letters (5 independent), some e inquery emails, no citations.

I will share more details latter. I don't think i deserved it.

Do you guys think if I should subbmitted another I-140 based on EB1 (EA), because the priority date is 6 monthes earlier? Thanks.

If EB1 get denied, will it affect my current approved Eb2?

Congratulations! If you are from retrogressed country then you can think about it otherwise..datewise..... its same current for you!! ... experts say EB1-EA is most difficult to get......no discouragement here ..if you feel it then only do it!!! did u file I-485 with NIW? looking at ur qual it will depend a lot of letters to prove ur EA ...candidature............

Thanks, eb1doc. I know EB1-EA is most difficult. However, because I am from retrogressed country and the priority date EB1-EA is about 8 monthes earlier than EB2. So I may take a shot if it doesn't hurt.

The only cost is $195 application fee and one friend telled me that the materials are almost same for both EB2-NIW and EB1-EA, the only difference is cover letter and reference letter.

I have not file my I 485 because I am from retrogressed country.

eb1doc, do you know what's the difference in the cover letter? For NIW, I addressed three prongs. Do I need to address the three prongs in the EB1-EA application letter and stress the extraordinary ability?

Thanks.

For EB1-EA, you need to satisfy at least three of ten criteria. Please see instruction of I140 for detail. In my opinion, no citation will be short for your application. But it doesn't hurt to get a try.
