NIW @ VSC approved. But need to know?

Hi Folks,

I've a news to share. :) My self petioned I-140 application with RD of 25 March 2005 has been approved today. I concurrently filed with 1-485 but have not been asked for fingerprints so far.

I want to know what would be the next step, are fingerprints a pre-requiste for 485 approval?

Please share your experiences. Also, I filed in VSC but now am in TSC, so with that where would my 485 be processed?

My NIW self-petition (VSC, concurrent filing, May 2005) has been also approved. No FP notice yet. I think biometrics is required for I-485 approval ... so let's keep our fingers crossed and wait.

Congratulation and yes it is a pre-requisite for 485 approval.
