I Need Your Help Once Again.my Old Lawyer Filed My H1b Extention On Time But Without Lca,got Lca Oct 1st,got A New Lawyer Who Filed An Ammendment To Original H1b Application,ins Aprroved Petition With Consular Notification But From Oct 1st To Dec 15th (which Is When I Left Current Job),had Filed A Change Of Employer H1b For Another Job In California,petition Received On Time,however There Is A Gap In My Status From Aug 17th Date Of Filing Original H1b Extention To Oct 1st Date Of Lca.my Lawyer Says Best Thing Will Be To File A Niw Petition Cause There Is A 6 Mnth Period Of Grace,however I Can't Work Until I Get My Ead In Abt 3 Mnths.can Anyone Help Me?please

mY QUESTION IS DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I HAVE ANY OPTIONS ASIDE FROM LEAVING THE COUNTRY?ALSO IS THERE A SIX MONTH GRACE PERIOD FOR NIW TO ADJUST STATUS?
