Hi, I am just starting out looking into getting greencard, so please bear with me if the question is repetive.
Originally I wanted to apply as a outstanding researcher, but have been told that my current contract is not "permanent" enough (there is no time limit, but it can be terminated at will of the employer). I might get the wording of the contract changed, but there is a new boss coming in the near future and the old one doesn't really want to make any decisions, so it's bad timing.
My question is if the same rules as to permanence of the position apply to a national interest waiver as well? I don't seem to be able to find something. If it's easier I think I could qualify for a NIW as well.
