NIW to EB1OR

dear group,

i applied niw in july 07. I did not receive my notice yet. I believe it is going to take another 2-3 years.

If i apply for EB1-OR in december, what would be your opinon about the time frame.

will that be ~6months. can any one tell in how much time they received their gc or 485 approval.

Where did you apply.Did you do e-file.
Have the checks cashed.
If so look at the back of the check for the receipt number.

approximate eb1-or processing times

please let me rephrase my question;

i applied to niw in july-07 (from august 07 my 6th year of h1 started)

My questions are:

1. Can i apply in nov-07 for EB1-OR, while my NIW is pending?

2. how much time approximately, it is going to take to get GC if I file eb1-or in nov-07, now that eb1 categories are 'current'.

I know that times depend on various factors and many applicant are in the process of waiting and applied long back. what i am asking is possible approximate time.

I recently came across a highly accomplished doctor doing research and in EB1 EA category whose I140 got approved in early 2005. He applied I1485 in early 2005 and is still waiting. His name is also ok and should not raise any suspicions, Some people can get stuck in namechecks even if dates are current. That said, if you can qualify for EB1, you must try it. It is much faster.
