I am going to graduate this summer with Ph.D degree. Then, I will go to another school to start postdoc research. My postdoc direction is very different from my Ph.D. study. Ph.D study is more basic while postdoc study is more clinical although both belong to biological sciences. Do you guys think I should mention the postdoc research in the reference letters and petition letter? My concern is INS may think since I changed research direction I should need another several years to establish myself in the new field...
If I do not mention it at all, do you think the chance will be high for me to get a RFE asking about current employment data?
Thanks!
