NIW proof LC would be harmful

It seems there are sometimes issues with proving that requiring a labor condition would be harmful. Could you make some suggestions as to reason for this. I know my reason is because universities will not sponsor for anything less than a faculty position but is this reasonable to the INS?

Normally they will not buy it. Actually all you have to do is to prove your are better than most people who have only minimum qualification for your proposed work.

Thanks. So I guess the recommendation letters from other scientists is important for this point? By saying I am one of the top in my field and it would be harmful to the field if I was forced to leave my work they are saying the requirement for LC should be waived?

Not harmful for the field but for the US. You have to show the importance of your research for the US and why this justifies not going through LC
