NIW petition: How many recommendation letters?

Preferably 5.
Most pple have submitted atleast 5 letters. Some have submitted
as many as 12.
I think it is important to get these letters from name-brand
companies/universities.

I\'ve got NIW last year, and what my attorney asked me to prepare was as much as possible. I\'ve got total of 9 recommendation letters, all of them from professors and ph.d researchers. For publications, I even put my ph.d. thesis(close to 200 pages long). So, you might consider doing this, too. I was very impressed when I reviewed my application package, it was about 5-6 inch thick
