NIW or EB1-EA for a Doctor of Chinese Medicine?

Hi yitizhu or other friends here, I have a friend who is an accomplished doctor (leading expert, awards and papers) of Chinese Medicine. He has a job in a college of Chinese Medicine in the USA, but his employer will not sponsor his GC. What are his options to apply for his GC in addition to EB1-EA and NIW? Does he have any chance to go for NIW? Thanks for your response.

I think he may try NIW, but I am not sure; Chinese medicine is very good for many chronic type of diseases; and good for maintainance of health.

First he should approve that his degree is equal or higher than MS; must have >7 yrs of education starting counting from his college for NIW.

The reference letters are crucial; the petition must be well organized. By the way, what kind of awards did he get, where did he get the awards,how many papers did he get published in English journals? Did he have a lisence to practise medicine in USA?
