dear list:
I hold a PhD in Computational biology and working as a postdoc in Harvard Med School. I have 10 research publications (all top journals). unfortunately university does not care about postdocs to be considered for Oustanding REsearher/Prof.
My application will be a solid one for NIW. However, by looking at the processing times at centers (vermont and Nebraska) it is hard for me to understand since EB2 is shown only.
I am Indian and on H1. EB2 for India is at hopless Aug 2003.
I have some set of questions:
1. Since it is not current, If I submit my I-140 application is December 2006, do I have to wait until the EB2 priority turns to Dec 2006 in visa bulletin.
2. In generally, how many days of submission I get to hear that my I-140 is approved.
3. as a whole, how much time would it take to get I-485 approved (I guess that is what required to change jobs etc).
4. Could any one help me educating me on time process for NIW.
Thank you.
A Kumar.
