NIW ( ND 03/25) approved at VSC !

Hi, there,

Thank God, almost 10 months painful waiting time is over , it is over finally......

My NIW at VSC ( ND March 25,2002) is approved today ( Jan, 15,2003) per online and AVM checking.

Hang on it, your turn will be coming soon !

AVM, I guess, is atomatic voice message to check the status over the phone
Dial 1-802-527-4913, wait till get through, then dial 1, then 1 again, enter your case # EACxxxxxxxxxx

Congratulations on your I140 approval. My ND is 3/8 (NIW), no news yet.

I am wondering if you plan to use AP or H1 on your trip to China? if you plan to get H1 stamp in China, do you know how long it will take? I was told it could take months due to the newly installed security check, is that true? I got my AP from VSC, took less than 10 days. but I still intend to travel with H1.

1. use AP
2. I think ( heard from my friend) it is very tough in terms of the visa issued in China, be prepared to wait 1-2 months to get one.

it is amazing you got AP in less than 10 days, Did you get it in local office, need any emergent resons ?

you will be the next one got approved.

You can also check online at www.ins.gov.

I got my AP from VSC not local office, no emergency reason. RD12/24 and AD1/3. It's amazing how fast it is, considering the holidays in between and comparing the looooong waiting for I140.

Wish you good luck with 485 too.

Did you file the NIW by yourself or your lawyer did that for u?
