I bet many of you guys have already submitted I-140 form, I hope you can help me to figure out the following questions regarding e-filling of I-140 form.

1. Part 1, IRS Tax #?
where to find this number?

2. Part 2, A#?
what is it? USCIS does not even give a full description of what "A#" is?

3. Part 4,
3. if the person's native alphabet is other than roman letters, write the person's name and address in the native alphabet.
I am chinese, does this mean I have to write these information in chinese. I don't know whether online acrobat support chinese input?

4. Part 6,
7. is this a permenant position?
I hold scientist position at research institute. should be yes, right?
8. is this new position?
how do I know whether this new position or not?

One more question about NIW application, does it necessary to fill out 750B form? someone said yes, someone said no. totally confused.

any hint will be appreciated.

What about if we are e-filing I-140 application? Is there a tool in Acrobat that will allow us to write in our native language (Hindi, chinese etc)? or DO WE HAVE TO JUST LEAVE THAT COLUMN BLANK or PUT "N/A" there?

If you are Chinese you must write your name in the Chinese alphabet as it appears in your passport. Do not put N/A (not applicable) because it certainly is very applicable.

As for "new position": Did were you hired to replace somebody else who left? Or were you a new addition to the institution? For example, if the place is expanding and they wanted new people, and you filled on of those positions, then yours is a 'new position'. If your place of work has slots for 5 scientists (or post-doc or whatever), and you came to one of those 5 slots after somebody else left, then it's not a new position.
