NIW for Research- Anybody

Hi All
Is there any physician who filed for NIW based on research/ Exceptional abilities and got it approved. I filed NIW based on Exceptional abilities but the approval notice states that it got approved as NIW physician and 485 will be approved only after 3-5 years of service in underserved area? I did not file any job description etc

Any precedent or methods of resolution of this problem?

I know of one person who filed a research NIW and got it approved without a problem.

But I have seen the same thing happening. 'Plain Vanilla' NIW was filed. But some dimwit at USCIS read 'physician' and equated it with 'physician NIW'. I am not sure, but there is something you can file for called 'action on approved petition'. Talk to an immigration attorney, I am not sure whether this would be a motion applicable here.
