as I was afraid, my NIW case was transfrerred to Newark today.
Could someone know how many days it usually talks Newark to arrange an interview? What documents do they request for NIW casw interview?

their is a newark thread in the forum. i guess it takes less time than some other centers.

niwniw, are you the one posted your EAC on the board?

takes several months for the interview. and most likely you'll pass easily. don't worry, since you're niw, you don't need worry about layoffs.
It's just several months of peaceful waiting.

My case is NIW, not through LC. it looks like most NIW cases request interview. One of my friends also got transferred. His case is NIW too.
 
niw, niw cases are mostly transferred. Because they want to verify you have employment, and you are doing research,
and you are not in sensitive technology area. It could be a rule
that all NIW get tranferred. I have never seen a NIW case not tranferred so far. This rule began from Oct/2002.

But think about it, you're Jan cases, if you get interviewed in 3 months ,it's still better than no news, or RFE or 2nd FP waiters.
anyway, now you know when you'll be approved. and you can get stamped on the same day.
 
in boston, the interview time is only 2 months. I have a friend, tranferred in June, will get interview in August, much faster than my case, which is untouched till today. :( At least your case is touched, you should be happy.
 
Newark is pretty fast

typical couple months, give or take. you should really feel happy about the transfer.

For New York interviews, is it true Garden city more faster than 26 Federal Plaza?
I am currently living in Long Island, will my case be transferred to Garden City or 26 Federal Plaza.
