(1)Ph.D. in ME from foreign country
(2)15 English journal papers
(3)20 conference proceedings and abstracts
(4)serving as a reviewer for three journals (in total 12 times)
(5)one prestigious post-doctoral fellowship
(6)12 citations in total (weak part for me)
(7)membership of AIAA, ASME, Sigma Xi
(8) 8 reference letters (2 from DOE (co-workers), 3 from independents, 3 from previous advisors)

Concorrently filed I-140+I-485

I-140 AD: 10/03/05
I have a lawyer.

finally there are some exciting news from NSC

as we have been hearing too many quick approvals from TSC,VSC.
When you get the approval notice, can you share your office code?

For sure, I will post the office code if you think it is important.
I think it takes about four days to get it.
 
Do you have some very strong LOR?

for example, from big names in your field or editor of some good journal? I e-filed on 09/26/05, sent the supporting evidence on 9/29/05. Only managed to send 6 letters(4 independent). My weak point is only 8 papers and 3 first-authors. Citaion is ok, total 120,first author 56.

You should be fine since your citation is pretty high. I guess you are med-related. My friend has similar backgroud as you. He got an minor RFE to provide a certified copy of his master degree after submitting the petition two weeks later. He has 100 citations.

Status for kids after using my EAD?

My H1B is the sixth year. I am going to use my EAD soon. I'd like to know what status for my kids should be after my using EAD.

In addition, is it OK for me to go to a companay from a university now? I am doing DOE projects in a university. In the company I will be doing similar R&D. Is there any effect on my I-485? Thanks a lot

I just got an email that my I-140 application was approved today from NSC. Now I am worried that it might get revoked after reading another post about it.
