My NIW application got approved. Details:
RD - 9/29/99
RFE received - 1st week of July, 2000
Reply to RFE, received by VSC - 10/10/00
Approval mailed by VSC - 11/24/00 (Heard about the approval on the automated system. Approval Notice not received yet)
RFE was about proving that my work is in National Interest, etc (the usual points that have been poping up after the NYSDOT case). Sent a few more letters of recommendations from scientists & academia.
My first NIW application which I had filed in 1996 got rejected. Lawyer screwed it up big time.
Best of luck to you all. I still cannot believe it!
