I visited the CIS website, they just posted the approval.
1. Concurrent filing (I-140 and I485) on December 2002.
2. EAD-June 03
3. First RFE September 03
4. Second RFE on February 04
5. Approval 2/23/04

Qualifications: I applied for EB2 as member of professions with advanced degrees. I have an MBA with several years of documented experience in economic development of poor areas, and have worked in a few research projects.
I initially submitted 10 letters from peers, professors, my general director, and from one government agency. The first RFE was asking for proof on how a labor certification would adversely affect the national interest.
I answered to it with 7 letters, from my director, a couple of federal agencies and some from top government officials.
I included copies of three prizes received, and copies of a couple of publications I have contributed to. A personal statement and one introduction letter were also included in the package. You can check additional info on a past thread (Second request for Evidence)
Good luck to all of you!

Congrats. All nervous about that second RFE for nothing :).

The turn around time was about 7 weeks. I replied to the first RFE on Dec. 16th. considering that the holidays were in the middle of this, the reply wasn't that delayed. :) Although for the second RFE they posted the decision in one week.

Are you an economist? How did you argue NIW and waiver of labour certification? Did you try EB1-EA also?

No, I did not try EB-1, and I am not an economist. My work is in economic development of impoverished areas. Every case is unique and considered on its particular merits. If you compare my qualifications with some of the participants of this forum who have doctorates and do heavy research, I might not be even near to them. However I think that the fact that the kind of things I do are beneficial for the US economy and jobs creation, helped a lot. I also think that it is crucial the way you explain your qualifications, how complete the package is, and the kind of letters of support you get.
