Hi,
for these got your NIW or EA self-petition approved,

IN the reference letter section, did you really have to attach the CV of the recommenders ? provided they already clearly indicated their education, title, professional achievements and standings (e.g. department head, President of ...Society, etc.). Is it a "must" to attach the CV ? Anybody got approved without doing that?

Thanks so much for your input.

Credentials

What is a must is to establish that the person who wrote the letter is an expert in the field. IMO, the CV is the best way to do this. Put yourself in the shoes of the INS person reading the case. He has no idea who this person is or why he should be considered an expert.

Write a paragrah in the recommendation letter,

describe the the qualification of reference in detail, position, awards won, # paper published, senior membership.

However, if you can get CV, just attach it. If not, introduction of his credential in the letter should be OK.
