I guess we all suffer from the slow (may be stopped) processing of NIW and OR. I have a suggestion on this issue. It may not work out but it is harmless to give a try.
If you go to USCIS website --> feed back --> comments on immigration procedures, you can write emails to complain the current situation for OR and NIW applicants. I did this every time CIS posts the new processing dates report.
I don't know whether it is really helpful but I believe if we sit there doing nothing to fight for this, the processing dates for OR and NIW may stay at June of 2002 for another year (as they did in 2003)!!!!
The expedited processing of EB3 cagegory is, I believe, largely due to many complaints from those applicants through various chanels. Since OR and NIW only account for a small proportion of I-140 petition, it is very hard to draw attention from CIS. We really need to unite together and do sth. to push CIS on this.
