I called New Number today i got thru very quick and i spoke to a represntative about my I-485 Case She said I know you have completed 18 months I think VSC is taking more than 18 months to complete a Adjustment of Status Case So Please be patient and you will hear as soon as they start working on Adjustment of Status Cases. If you want I can take your details and Request VSC to Send the ststus of your case in 4 to 5 weeks.
I asked her Is VSC not working on Adjustment of Status cases ?
She said Not Sure about that.
What does this whole discussion means?

Called the 800 number. She saw that my case (VSC AOS) is waiting for longer than 18 months and made a case. Took all my details and submitted a form requesting an update on the status.
She said that it will take 3-4 weeks and did not know much about how it works as it is new system.
I wish I can find out if my case is assigned to an officer atleast. 2 weeks back when we called the old VSC number, we found it is not even assigned though we completed 2 rounds of FP.
 
Anybody rceived anything by calling the new number?

Since almost all 30 people with eac02074*** numbers after mine got approved in May, I called yesterday using the new number. She asked if I am applying for refugee or asylum, I said no, then she said EB case should not take that long. She took all my information including both my old and new addresses and said she would send a request to VSC. She said I should receive a case status in 3-4 weeks. Will that help?

Has anybody received anything? or just a print-out from the web site. If so, it would a waste of both her and mine time.

It's going to be the online msg that would be printed and sent to you. People have had this experience before.
 
In that case, my home-going plan is further delayed.

I can not focus on anything now. thanks anyway
