Hi all;
One of the my friends (who is also waiting on the name check) got the following update.
- For the people who got a hit and the computer could complete their name check, they are waiting on a queue. The word is that the FBI analyst are working on November queue. You get to the name check queue after doing your fingerprint. In my case I submited my application in October, but I did my finger print in December. So I am hoping to hear from them in a month time or so when they reach December applicants.
- So if you did your finger print in December, and an Analyst is required to clear your name, then you have to wait until the queue reaches December.
- I checked this with couple of other applicants. One of them got his name check after 4 weeks of the interview. The other after six weeks. Because Houston is moving super fast in the interviews, the name check (for people who needs FBI human intervention) is not being ready on time. By the way, you may ask how the applicant new that their name check was completed?? simply because they received their Oath letters and during the interviews, the officers told them thier applications were pending name check.
- Clearly this feedback does not cover people who did their fingerprint far before November 2004 and still waiting.
