Hi,

I recently got married to my long time girlfriend. I have been a legal resident here for 10 years and my wife got her immigrant status as a registered nurse and came here in Oct. 2003. My question is since she will be taking my last name due to marriage do we have to report her last name change to the immigration office? Thanks in advance.

why would you..is she still waiting for her status.....?

correction..No .you don't need to report her name change.
but if somone has a diff.opinion ..correct me. :rolleyes:
 
I agree with JoeF. Especially in post 9/11 days a lot of bells start ringing if something does not match at face value.
