Hi, my name is dunga. Can someone answer this question for me please? My girlfriend came here illegally (using someone else's name), we have two kids (usc). I will be eligible to apply for my citizenship at the end of this year. However, I wanted to know if there's anyone that has been denied citizenship based on the fact that he/she spouse is here illegally? The reason why I ask this is because I'm planning on marrying her very soon and I wanted to know, if I get married before my N-400 interview, can it be denied? Or should I just wait until after I've received my citizenship to get married, thank you?
