your sponsor needs to make 25% over the poverty amount...chek the affidavit of support form...it says what the poverty line is for different family sizes.
Is she working?...if she's not...maybe can someone be a co-sponsor for you (for affidavit of support only). My father in law ended up being my sponsor...

Actually the sponsor has to make 125%(not 25%) above the mandated poverty line.

Actually, it is 125% of the poverty level for your family size, but it is 25% above the poverty level.
