Newark Transfer cases?

Can we start a thread on all the people who have got their papers transferred to Newark, and when?

As per this board, we have

Gagank - 3/30,
verysad12 - 3/30
itsajoke - 4/3 and
Willbedone - 5/2,
dna - 5/4
steve1999 - 5/7.
self - 4/25

These are the transferred cases to Newark so far. Anybody else please update this list. None of the above has also got the interview notices, so if anyone gets it, please flash it out.

I called up the INS national center customer service, spoke to a lady there. She just has no idea what happens at Regional offices like Newark. She would not even give me a phone number of that place sayng there is no number there.

The only thing which she could tell me was that it will take 13 months before we can expect an interview call from Newark, which is bull.

Any idea what is happening there? What needs to be done to hasten the process?

It would really help if we keep each other informed.

Also, did you receive letter from VSC regarding xfer ? I havent received anything from VSC yet. Found out about xfer from AVM.

Also, what really scares me is, processing time listed at shusterman.com for local INS. It says 365-425 days. And thats the same reply you got from that lady from INS. If you notice that timings listed for Boston is 183 days. And I personally know a friend who got interview notice exactly after 6 months of tranfer, from Boston INS. So are those timings right ??? (SCARY !!!!)

We have seen cases like almost-as-sad and others who got interview notice withing 4-5 weeks. So lets hope that we will get our interview notice soon.

BTW, at which INS center you had your labor and I140 done ? My theory is if you had done labor and 140 at different service center then, chances are high that your case will be tranferred. Myself and itsajoke both had labor and 140 done at TSC, while 485 was filed at VSC.
