Following is my experience for PP stamping:
485 AD: 12-29-04
Approval Form Received Dt: 01-03-05 (Courtesy Copy)
I had an Infopass appointment for 10-Jan, but today morning found an open slot for 8am, grabbed it.
Reached USCIS at 7:35am
I did not even have a hardcopy printout of the appointment, showed the soft copy from my laptop, got accepted.
I had only 1 appointment for myself and wife. No issues with that.
5 minutes in first queue for getting ticket.
They gave ticket along with I-551 form (took fingerprint on the form as well as signature).
15 minute wait till number was called. This time they took my AP, EAD, I-551 form and I797C form and asked to wait again.
30 minutes later, I was called again, they took the passport and stamped the temporary I-551 valid for 1 year.
Walked out of USCIS at 9:15am.
Pretty easy.. I did not have any problems with courtesy copy of I-797 or single appointment. People there were well behaved as well.
I guess I was the first few in the day, hence their grumpiness had not set in yet!!
All the best to others who are waiting for their stamping!
