Has anyone stood in the line for EAD or anything similar at Newark recently? Any idea what time one should get in the line to stand a chance of getting in that day? Last I checked, someone mentioned 4 am....

That\'s not the line I was referring to - the FP building and line are totally different from the INS office at 970 Broad street where last minute things and other appointments are made.

They have 2 lines, One for the people with appointments, you will be allowed to go inside immediatly(not big line).
The other one is for the people without appointment. This line actually starts from outside of INS building Broad Street(Number I don\'t remember)its better if you reach morning around 6AM, you can finish by 11 AM.

I went 8.30AM and came out at 1 pm

Thanks. What reason did you give them for applying for the AP from there rather than from VSC? Did you give a medical reason or some family reason? Or did you simply apply for it and they didn\'t ask any questions?
