Newark ASC - Fingerprint Rescheduling

My spouse has FP appointment next week. Since she is pregnant and I cannot accompany her on a weekday, she may not be able to go alone. If we request a rescheduling for a Saturday, after how much time can we expect the new appointment? The baby is due next month, so we want to be sure that we get a new date not earlier than 8 weeks from now. Can I go there in person to request a reschedule or should I mail in the notice?

Personally I feel that you should try and keep the appointment that you have got if it's just because "you" can not do it on a weekday. These appointments are hard to come by....specially if you rescheduled it.

If you wanted to reschedule the appointment, you will have to mail in the counterfoil which you got along with the NOA.

I still say " TAKING A DAY OFF ON APPOINTMENT DATE IS WORTH IT!" You never know you might be able to go back to work in few hours if you have a early morning appointment..

Hi - I had a similar problem - my wife was pregnant and could not go on a weekday. We actually just walked in for the fingerprinting on Saturday (the Saturday before the actual appointment). They looked at the letter and said "this is for next week". I explained my reason and they were totally fine with us coming in early withouth an appointment. In fact, I got the feeling that they were generally not concerned about people walking in early. We were done in 15 minutes. So definately, try to walk in on a Saturday - you should have no problem - rather than re-scheduling.
