I've recently been lucky enough to win the DV lottery and have done my DS-260, etc. I'm waiting for my police clearance certs to come in and to be contacted to submit them, but I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the diversion scheme in NZ on this front? I have a clean record, except for a stupid infringement committed some 15 years ago (very minor but still dumb... I was in a bad place and destroyed someone's letterbox and fence... :/) which qualified for diversion in NZ. I'm just wondering if anyone has any similar experience and can let me know how it might impact my chances of getting through the process successfully?
