For New York filers, I noticed that some people got transferred to Garden City, while others got transferred to 26 Federal Plaza. Apparently, interviews in Garden City is scheduled much faster than those in Federal Plaza.
So, what is the rule for BCIS to decide which of these two centers for transferring? I know that Garden City is in Long Island. Are they based on address?
