Sorry to sound so much like a newbie but got to ask this....are people REALLY experiencing a lot of delay in getting their FBI fingerprint and name checks done? I mean, I saw people here who have got 2nd or even 3rd fingerprint requests....wow! I did not know there was such a delay. By being in this Forum, I have learnt of this possible delay. So I just want to ask this as I am so new to this....
I filed I-140/485/AP/EAD on June 1st (EB2). Had fingerprints taken June 21st (last week). Can I get my EAD while FBI check is still pending (Sorry...I am so new to this process that I am still not clear about this!)? If so, can I rely on the Texas processing times (currently around 10 week backlog) for my EAD? So can I expect the EAD by Mid August (filed EAD June 1st plus 10 weeks is around Mid Aug).
Also, certain people put abbreviations like AD, LUD, RD, Fingerprint type code 1, 2, 3 etc . What do these mean …especially LUD? Where do you check for LUD?
