New to Forum. help me understand process for AOS.

My Priority date becomes available soon, from reading this forum I think I understand that the filing of the EAD comes next along with the I 485. Can anyone tell me if you have to attend an interview for this or do they just write and tell you your AOS has been approved???

Then what happens next??????

I've been waiting almost 11yrs for the Priority Date, will it take as long as another year to finally obtain GC?

Please take it as my thought not legal advice

I-485 is filed for AOS and along with it you can file for your I-765 and I-131 and the fee is all included. I see no reason on not applying when we dont need to pay extra fee. For 1-765 and I-485 you go for finger prints and if everything goes fine you will get your I-765 and I-131 in mail. Dont need to go for interview but for I-485 I am not sure of your criteria of filing so i am not sure if you need to go for a interview.
