Hey any ND 2007/2008 got their approvals yet. Although ND 2000 still waiting if for any miracle happens in USCIS & ND 2007/2008/2009 already received their approval yet or who knows instead of approval they may receive their US citizenship at the same time :D :D ??????
I hate to see threads like this. When 2000 people are waiting & threads like any 2005 approval ???????????????????????????????????????? Welcome to reality?

Atique, not to sound rude but weren't you the same person who ridiculed me when I made fun like this during my GC process? You claimed that dont be frustrated and all and I would come back and say USCIS sucks....

I see that you are feeling the same frustrations as I went through and I feel for you.

I think you will be approved by 02/10. Not the year 2010 but February 10, 2006.

Five years waiting time is too much.The sixth one started running.Ucisc sucks!Uscis is a monster...Well,keep cool and stay positive.keep fighting and you will win one day.

On May 12, 2005, President Bush signed the REAL ID Act into law. While this bill contains many anti-immigrant provisions, including changes to the law which will make it more difficult for asylum applicants to win their cases and for everyone to obtain drivers’ licenses and non-driver identification cards, it also lifts the cap on asylee adjustments.

Since 1990, there has been an annual cap by the U.S. government on processing "green card" applications for asylees. The cap of 10,000 has led to a growing backlog, with more than 186,000 asylees currently waiting for their "green cards," often for more than ten years. The REAL ID Act removes the cap of 10,000.

It is still unclear how much of a difference in processing times this new law will make since no one knows whether Citizenship and Immigration Services intends to increase the number of officers processing asylee adjustment applications


We dont care about people 2000 or 1995 . We didnt have a cap when we were adjusting so relax guys.

Dear Atique:

Though I am 2000 class, I will be approvevd in 2007 as my name checking is pending. it will take that long time to solve the backlog of name checking till 2007, then I can see my G/C, bro.
 
SINNERSROOM,
We all are asylees, we all went through a similar pain, so atleast we have some relationship between us ....of pain, torture, sorrow.... if all of us 'really' went through it ?.... if we all are true asylees?,.....we should not feel proud that there was no cap when we were granted this freedom ..... instead we all should feel sad that why our fellow brothers and sisters had to go through all this ....

I will pray to 'Waheguru'.. that everyone get this freedom as early as possible....

i am not proud of anything. i am just making it clear that New asylees dont have to wait that long just because some asylees were victims of crazy asylee cap.
i know it is unhuman to make people wait so long for that green plastic card.
I am sorry if i made u sad :( who is waheguru :confused: :eek:

Personally, I will not be surprised if this starts happening, considering how haphazardly current cases are managed. :rolleyes: You're right, it's a special kind of reality, its kafkesque variety - the INS kind. :mad:

I agree with your statement about those annoying titles like "ANY 2005 APPROVAL? "
I replied to the e-mail mentioned and I asked them to bring some useful information than this annoying question and they went blast on me.
Sinner and Asylee think I am jelous,but jelous of what? I have my green card in hand but there are other people who are still waiting from 2000 and 2001.
Let's be reasonable before asking too much and spending some other peoples time.

Thanks Singh & congrates to your recent freedom. You know I didn't really want to be rude but guess I've become so much frustrated that I created this thread. And ofcourse my anger is not on those asylee brothers/sisters but the way USCIS handles case processing.

Thanks Gebre. I sure appreciate your comment. As I mentioned in another posts it's not that I'm mad on those asylee brothers/sisters but the way USCIS processes our files.

Some people believe that if they repeat word "honey" 500 times they they feel sweetness in their mouths. This is what I observed. ;) Do not take it seriously.
