New theory..485 approval order now based on LC PD dates !!!!

Call me a fool or what not...I have a corollary more that a theory...VSC has now changed the order in which they are processing 485 cases...

the order is now based on LC priority dates on or before 01/01/2002.......

Can anybody second my opinion !!!!!

Yes I can.....not second it though

I can comment on it; won't second it though.

And my comment is , that's not true. Because my PD is July 1999.
And i see approvals of cases whose PD's are in 2001, a cool 2 years
later than mine.

I think USCIS handles cases by first putting your file into one of 4 buckets :

1) Extremely Fortunate
2) Fortunate
3) Unfortunate
4) Downright Screwed

How do they do it ? Maybe they play a game on an otherwise boring Vermont
morning; maybe that's their only entertainment - > randomly throw the
files into one of 4 buckets.

The rest of the process then falls into place.

my latest is...I called Vermont and talked. The lady said everything is Ok
with your case and its in the adjudicators area being adjudicated. God
knows how long that takes.

I think they may soon start a new category called dispatchers area. Then
we will hear for 1 year that your case is adjudicated and in the dispatchers
area !!!

This lady also lectured me as to how this is not a Status Enquiry line but a
problems-solution line. Right ! I don't care..I called...do what you want.

These folks are happily approving 2003-2004 cases and all I get to hear is
adjudicators area !!!
 
HI Guys,

I am pissed off.. with USCIS... From last one year they are just playing with me.. My I-140 is pending becs of I-485 ... case was filled semi-concurrent. Made 3 inquiries last year every time I was told to wait for 60 days everything is Ok with my case and its in the adjudicators area being adjudicated.. then nothing happen...

And now I got following message on 7 Jan
"Our last written notice in this case was returned as undeliverable by the post office..."

I doubt that it might be inquiry respose letter but It was 3 months back... Does it takes so long time to send letter ?...

Can any one suggest me , what shall I do now ? My lawyer is not interested in my case.... I want to get my I-140 approval... please reply....

I have actually taken an InfoPass Appointment next friday and I am going to see how that goes and will update you all.

when I called VSC last time on Dec 04 , I was also told that my case is in the adjudicators area and I should be very happy about it and I was also lectured that this line is for case who have problems and we should be only calling the NCSC for status inquiries and just wait for months together........and to my utmost surprise, I was told that all the FBI checks were completed, but on the same day when my congressman made a status inquiry, I got the reply saying that my case is pending because of Name Check with FBI.

I think it all depends on the rep who is taking your call, because for Mparth, when he did call VSC, the rep listened to him and in a few days, he got his approval.

To my knowledge and after looking at various threads i fell ....

First of all they dint changed the order. If that is going to happen then they might need to change the current processing dates to Jan 02, but still it shows june 03.

Second the processing dint changed, but at the final stage of the processing they might be holding the approvals due to retro. I see many approvals every where whose PD is between 1997 to 2001. Nothing much in 2002,2003 etc.

The pattern in which the approvals were seen, I can feel that they are going to approve the cases based on the current order but also verifying that person's PD is older than 2002.

Good luck guys. For all the 1997-2001 cases will be approved soon, being they have to do only few cases in these years.

Don't loose your cool as I140 is very important stage of GC process, so try to convince your Lawyer to help you hear. Good Luck!
 
I think it may be true.....Lets look at it the other way around ...

Lets keep a watch on cases which have PD on/after 02/01/2002 and see if they are processed .....
