??? New rules for H4 appointment ?????????

Hello,
As you might have noticed that VFS site http://www.vfs-usa.co.in/ was updated on Oct 1. The old site clearly mentioned that, to schedule an appointment for H4 you need the original marriage certificate, which totally sucks BTW. The new site does not mention this at all. All it says is pay your fees , go online and schedule an appointment. Nothing on the site says about the original marriage certificate for appointment.

Have the rules changed or is the site less informative? Has anybody scheduled an H4 appointment since Oct 1?

I meant to get an appointment, why do they need a marriage cert. to get an appointment, I can understand needing the cert. for the interview.

They just want to make sure that you have all the paper work ready before giving you an appointment. It may happen that on the day of appointment you might not have all the papers ready and that time-slot is lost.
