New Rule: F1 to H1 :

Hi friends,

I am on F1 status right now, and will be filing for my H1 shortly.
According to the new rule, do I need to get my H1 stamped before I can start work on H1.
Or can I work even when my H1 is approved but not stamped on my visa ?

My friend told me that according to the new rule, I have to go back to India to get H1 stamped before I start working.

I need to plan ahead if this rule is a valid fact.
