It's there - they separated I-485s, look 14 lines above the Nicaraguan relief.

The trend of the processing time is bad, from 2 month in a month to 15 days in a month...

ND: May 2002
NO FP

TSC essentially deducts 900 days from the present date when it sets the I-485 processing date -- there is nothing much to be read into that processing date. It's redundant of TSC to both publish a processing date as well as indicate an estimated processing time (850-900 days) -- it can provide just one of the two instead of playing this game of adjusting one so as to be consistent with the other.
Of course, the real truth is that neither presents the actual picture -- the actual picture can only be captured by a probability distribution of current processing dates, which spans all the way from May 01 to June 03. Where I am employed, there are about 10 people who filed during the period June 02 -- June 03, out of which the person who filed last (June 03) got approved a month back; the rest of us are waiting. One is yet to be FP'd, several others' FPs have expired. All are the same EB category, no one has changed jobs or addresses.

TSC works in strange ways!

budboy is right. The TSC posted date is not very relevant.

The most recent probability distribution I generated based on statistically significant sample shows that most approvals done last month where around May 2003. There was another smaller peak around may-june 2002 and very little work on applications in second half of 2002. Please refer to my previous article for the distribution graph.

This mean in reality there was only little progress for the cases of two or more years wait. But surprisingly good progress for 15 month old cases. I do not how can they reflect that in the posted date!!!

Somebody here needs to organize a certain type of activity to address this problem to the lawyers, congrassmen, senators, .... We can also send numerious faxes to the TSC director. Pls let someone have a formal report with numerious "unfair" facts on it!!!!!

Thanks.

Peter
