Though it does not come as a surprise for I485 processing times for not moving forward, it does surprise me as it moved back. USCIS is using the processing times report as a gatekeeper not to allow any case status referrals from people like me who have filed iin 2001 and still waiting for approvals. Wonder how to make them hear our voice.

ND: 12/27/01
FP1: 03/05/02
RFE: 09/29/03 (EVL + Emp. Authorizations since Dec 2001 + Emp History since Dec 2001)
FP2: 10/23/03
RFE Replied and updated: 10/30/03
Just wondering. How can the processing go backwards? Do they revoke some of the approved cases and put them back for processing? Can not think of any other possible way.
No. It's not like that
The processing time indicates that they are processing cases received UP TO that date.
If the processing time moved back to a previous date, it could mean that the CIS was cleaning up the backlog.
I'm surprised that people visiting this forum has any kind of expectation from processing time report ... We all know the cases they are processing ...
This Processing time report is FOR INS a weapon .. which they legally use it to stop people from opening any kind of inquiry for their cases which has been pending for very long ....
The dates atleast for 485 cases are big piece of ???? Just see how legally they use it to their advantage .....
I guess every one knows processing times report means nothing as we all know the filing month they are processing, but the real problem is
"USCIS is using the processing times report as a gatekeeper not to allow any case status referrals from people like me who have filed iin 2001 and still waiting for approvals. "
to keep a smile on my face ...but inside I am dreading that this is a sign that they will slow down processing again...like they a few months ago. What a shame......
