New Processing Dates--> WHAT TO DO?

The new processing dates show that BCIS is processing I485 for Aug 2nd 2004. I would like to start this thread as to what we can do and how to do it once the dates are > 30 days from RD.

1. Do we need to send an email to FBI for name check I think we should ? Do you agree.
2. I understand that we can also call INS and start an enquiry on our case. However how do we reach a rep when we call the normal line.
3. I also saw a thread on emergency numbers for CSC. Should we call that number.
4. Guys please post ur experience as to what you are doing OR is the best option just to sit and wait.?

Thanks for starting the thread. My cases (140/485) are also more than 30 days old than the processing dates.

This is what I have done so far,

1. Asked my immigation dept. to start an inquiry (no reply from USCIS yet)
2. Called and started the inquiry from the 800 no. I was thinking that one can have only one inquiry, But to my surprize, when I called the 800 no. the rep opened the inquiry anyway. I don't know which one is valid !!!
3. Sent two mails to FBI regarding name check (No reply yet)
4. Called the emergency no. and got the reply that my case may be pending for FBI name check. But my immigation attorney says that finger print review and FBI name check should be same. The case stauts says that my fingerprint review results are in. I don't know which one to believe.
5. I had read on this forum that one can approach congressman to lobby for FBI name check. But not sure that has helped anybody yet.

MY RD is 6/24/04 .what is urs. have u applied for AP/EAD extensions. also how do u reach the customer rep in CSC. last time i called i had to go thru the option 'press 2 if u dont know ur receipt number' and then it transferred me. btw. i had called last friday regarding my case and y'day my LUD changed with the status 'On March 4 we responded to ur query ......'
