New Processing Dates update on March 18

Hi there,

Looks like i may be in a similar boat.. I had filed the 140 & 485 in early Aug & received information from my attorney that receipts had been received at their end.. Unfortunately, don't have any physical copies of receipt - 140 or 485. All i have is receipt # for 485.

Company Policy prohibits from disclosure - that kind of crap..

Is there any way to check my status..

LUD on 485 has been updated to 3/15/05. That's all i have.

All,

My I-140 and I-485 applications were filed by my company in August 2004. USCIS website mentions that they are currently processing applications received on or after Oct 18th 2004.

There has been no update on my case so far. My company does not disclose the I-140 receipt number to the applicant.

I came across information about Freedom of Information or Privacy act. I am planning on sending in an Freedom of Information Privacy Act application for getting a copy of the I-140/I-1-485 receipts.

Does anyone know the current turn around times for responses from the USCIS, California Service Centre.

Please let me know.
 
Generally 4 to 8 weeks. There could always be exceptions.

Hey gcwait2005,

You are looking at the post dated March 19, 2005 and today it's 20th April 2005. There is no update of processing dates after 7th April 2005.

Wake up!!!! ;)

thanks man. got it. i didn't see the header properly as we are eagerly waiting for the next update of processing dates.

Hi get_gc04

gcwait2005 need not to wake up. Some one used a wrong thread to put their question. As this thread has title of March, all in a sudden we may get confused by thinking it is latest. Even I felt the same than only I noticed.
All of us are alert always. But some times we feel tired due to long waiting, which hides our vision :)
