New Processing Dates as of Feb 08,2006 !!!

They must be kidding
I called them last week, asking the status of my case. The guy kept telling me that the current processing date is the year of 2000. I asked what about approvals of 2001, 2002 and 2003. He kept repeating that they are processing 2000... What's wrong with them?

New processing date as of Feb 08 posted in USCIS website. They are dealing with Dec,2000 now.
Atique.

I am curious to know weather the senator's response was helpful to you.
A relative of mine whose RD is Nov 2000 contacted Congressman office in January and the response from USCIS was that at that time they were processing Those filling before September 2000. That's all crap because the same week, USCIS updated processing time from sept. to Nov. 1, 2000.
Now, USCIS changed it again to Dec. 1, 2000.

What do you do when your the processing date is past your RD?

Thanks

Checked processing dates, just for fun - since they have nothing to do with reality. As of today thet are 'officially' processing February, 2001 cases. Quite a progress! Maybe, in a couple of years my petition will be processed, too.

Hi Morning (Good Evening)
I was reading the subject of all new Threads and I was wondering that where are you? and then I say this one and you are the last person posted something here. Then I decided to go to this thread and say hi to you and ask that what is happening to your case? Is everything going well?
I hope so.
Take care,

Thank you for remembering me and your concern. Nothing is happening with my case. I'm still waiting for an interview at the local office since my case has been transfered to San Francisco Asylum Office. After reading about annaraka's experience about nunc pro tunc interview I secured legal representation for this hearing. Besides, I accepted a proposal from my boyfriend, who happens to be a native born USC and we'll get married in a couple of months - maybe just around the time of the interveiw. By then I will be a legal spouse of a US citizen and no INS will be able to do anything to me, unless I commit a felony, which is not a part of my plan! :p At this point I don't care much about GC - I never did. All I ever wanted is live a diginified life in my home country and ironically, after escaping persecution over there, ended up in the hands of the INS for many long years. I believe I will get my freedom soon and the marriage will help to shave off a few months from citizenship eligibility waiting period.

Have a wonderful trip! ;)
