New Passport, stamping in old passport

Hi,

What happens if I get a new passport one year after i got my stamping in the old one. Do I need to carry the old passport with stamping as well as the new one or the new one without the stamping but with the plastic card is good enough.

carrying just the old passport is never an option, in the context of green card or whatever.

if you have renewed your passport 9 times you must always carry all 10 passports, whihc are stapled together anyway.. having just the renewed passport is like having no passport. each renewal refers to old passport.

I guess you are wrong.
I have travelled without the old passport.

You need old passport only if you are going to use a visa in the old one.

your current passport will have the details(like number...) of all of your old passports.
