I was previously added to the list of the New Orleans Asylum Interview Office. This Friday I received a call from the Immigration Service. I thought this call should be to notify me to go for an interview, but I failed to answer the call, so I am very anxious now. I would like to ask if the New Orleans office will call the applicant twice. If the first call is not connected, I have already sent an email to the office, but it is the weekend so I will not receive any notification.

From what I've heard, yeah, they usually try to reach out a second time if they can't get through the first time. It's a pretty standard practice. Since you've already sent an email, I'd say you've done what you can for now. Just hang tight until you hear back. In the meantime, try not to stress too much over the weekend. Easier said than done, I know, but sometimes a little distraction can help.
